WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
KADUNZA EUROPEAN AUTO SERVICE
5-Year / 60,000-Mile Nationwide Limited Warranty & Lifetime Parts Guarantee
At Kadunza European Auto Service, we stand behind the quality of our repairs and the parts we install.
Qualifying repairs are backed by our 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Nationwide Parts & Labor Limited Warranty, plus our Lifetime Parts Guarantee.
This warranty is subject to the eligibility requirements, exclusions, limitations, claim procedures, and maximum benefits described below.
1. Effective Date Of Coverage
Warranty coverage for each qualifying repair begins on the date that specific repair is completed, as shown on the final Kadunza repair order, and at the vehicle mileage recorded on that repair order.
Each qualifying repair therefore has its own warranty start date and starting mileage.
The applicable time and mileage limits are measured independently from the date and mileage shown on the final repair order for that specific repair.
For example, if a qualifying repair is completed on June 1, 2027 at 80,000 miles, the 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Parts & Labor Limited Warranty expires upon the earlier of:
- June 1, 2032; or
- 140,000 vehicle miles.
Repair or replacement of a component under warranty does not restart, reset, or extend the original warranty period or mileage limit unless Kadunza expressly agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
2. 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Parts & Labor Limited Warranty
Kadunza European Auto Service warrants qualifying parts supplied and installed by Kadunza, together with the associated installation workmanship, against covered defects in materials and workmanship for:
FIVE (5) YEARS OR 60,000 MILES
beginning on the date the qualifying repair is completed, as shown on the final Kadunza repair order, and from the vehicle mileage recorded on that repair order, whichever warranty limit is reached first.
If an eligible covered part experiences a covered failure, or if a qualifying repair fails because of defective Kadunza workmanship during the applicable warranty period, Kadunza will provide the reasonable parts and labor necessary to correct the covered condition, subject to all terms and limitations of this warranty.
3. Lifetime Parts Guarantee
After the 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Parts & Labor Limited Warranty expires, qualifying parts originally supplied and installed by Kadunza continue to receive parts-only protection for as long as the original purchasing customer continuously owns the vehicle.
If a qualifying covered part experiences a covered failure after expiration of Parts & Labor coverage, Kadunza will supply or authorize an eligible replacement part subject to the terms and limitations of this warranty.
Lifetime Parts coverage includes qualifying:
- Mechanical replacement parts
- Electrical replacement parts
- Belts
- Gaskets
- Seals
- O-rings
- Sealing rings
- Other qualifying sealing components
Coverage applies only where the failure qualifies under this warranty and is not caused or materially contributed to by an excluded condition.
After Parts & Labor coverage expires, the customer is responsible for:
- Labor
- Diagnosis and testing
- Programming or coding
- Calibration
- Fluids
- Refrigerant
- Shop supplies
- Taxes
- Towing
- Transportation
- Other costs associated with removal and installation of the replacement part
unless Kadunza expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
What "Lifetime" Means
For purposes of the Lifetime Parts Guarantee, "lifetime" means for as long as the original purchasing customer continuously owns the vehicle on which the qualifying repair was performed.
It does not mean:
- The lifetime of the vehicle;
- The lifetime of the component; or
- The lifetime of any subsequent vehicle owner.
The Lifetime Parts Guarantee is non-transferable.
The Lifetime Parts Guarantee is a limited parts-only warranty benefit subject to all terms, exclusions, procedures, and financial limitations contained in this document.
4. Original Customer And Vehicle
This warranty applies only to:
- The original purchasing customer identified on the Kadunza repair order; and
- The vehicle identified on that repair order.
This warranty is non-transferable.
Lifetime Parts coverage ends when the original customer sells, trades, gifts, transfers, or otherwise relinquishes ownership of the vehicle.
5. Qualifying Repairs
This warranty applies only to qualifying repairs using eligible parts supplied and installed by Kadunza European Auto Service.
Kadunza may designate certain components, assemblies, services, or repair categories as carrying different warranty terms.
If a repair order or invoice expressly states warranty coverage different from this warranty for a particular component or service, the warranty stated for that specific item controls.
6. Wear, Maintenance, And Consumable Items
Normal wear, routine maintenance, and consumable items are not replaced under warranty merely because they wear out during the warranty period.
Examples include:
- Brake pads and brake shoes
- Brake rotors and brake drums
- Tires
- Batteries
- Wiper blades
- Light bulbs
- Fuses
- Filters
- Spark plugs
- Fluids
- Oils
- Refrigerant
- Additives
- Clutch friction components
- Alignments
- Wheel balancing
- Routine adjustment or maintenance services
A wear item may nevertheless qualify for warranty coverage when a failure is caused by a verified covered manufacturing defect or defective Kadunza workmanship rather than normal use or deterioration.
7. Belts, Gaskets, Seals, And Sealing Components
Belts, gaskets, seals, O-rings, sealing rings, and similar qualifying components supplied and installed by Kadunza may qualify for both the Parts & Labor Limited Warranty and the Lifetime Parts Guarantee.
Coverage does not apply when failure is caused or materially contributed to by another vehicle condition, including but not limited to:
- Excessive crankcase pressure
- Overheating
- Fluid contamination
- Oil or coolant contamination
- Misalignment
- Failure of another pulley or component
- Improper maintenance
- Chemical exposure
- External damage
- Modification
- Improper repair or installation by another party
8. Brake Components
Brake pads, brake shoes, brake rotors, and brake drums are normal wear components and are not covered for replacement due solely to:
- Normal friction wear
- Reaching minimum service thickness
- Normal scoring
- Normal heat-related deterioration
- Ordinary corrosion
- Driving habits
- Operating conditions
- Normal brake noise associated with wear
A qualifying brake component may be covered during the applicable Parts & Labor Warranty period when the failure results from a verified covered component defect or defective Kadunza workmanship.
Brake wear items are not included in the Lifetime Parts Guarantee unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
9. Major Assemblies And Specialty Components
Certain high-value or specialty components may carry warranty terms different from this Limited Warranty, including:
- Engines
- Transmissions
- Transfer cases
- Differentials
- Turbochargers
- Superchargers
- High-voltage components
- Hybrid or EV battery assemblies
- Remanufactured major assemblies
- Used components
- Specialty electronic components
- Performance components
Coverage for these items is determined by the warranty stated on the applicable repair order and/or the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.
10. Customer-Supplied And Used Parts
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, customer-supplied parts are not covered by the Kadunza Parts & Labor Limited Warranty or Lifetime Parts Guarantee.
Kadunza is not responsible for labor, diagnosis, removal, reinstallation, or additional repair resulting from:
- Failure of a customer-supplied component;
- Improper fitment;
- Incorrect application;
- Incompatibility; or
- Defect in a customer-supplied component.
Used or salvage components receive only the coverage specifically stated on the repair order.
11. What Is Covered
This warranty covers qualifying failures resulting from:
A. A covered defect in an eligible part supplied and installed by Kadunza; or
B. Defective workmanship directly related to a qualifying repair performed by Kadunza.
Coverage applies only to the qualifying originally repaired component or repair.
A covered failure does not automatically create warranty coverage for unrelated vehicle systems, components, maintenance needs, or pre-existing conditions.
12. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover a failure, damage, or additional repair caused or materially contributed to by circumstances unrelated to a covered component defect or Kadunza workmanship, including but not limited to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper or insufficient maintenance
- Failure to maintain proper fluid levels
- Overheating from an unrelated condition
- Oil starvation or lack of lubrication
- Continued operation after a warning light or known mechanical problem
- Collision or impact damage
- Road hazards
- Flood or water damage
- Fire
- Weather or environmental damage
- Rodent or animal damage
- Corrosion
- Abuse
- Misuse
- Neglect
- Improper operation
- Racing
- Competition
- Track use
- Timed events
- Improper off-road use
- Towing or loading beyond manufacturer specifications
- Vehicle modifications that caused or contributed to the failure
- Aftermarket tuning or programming that caused or contributed to the failure
- Failure of another vehicle component
- Installation of incompatible equipment
- External contamination
- Tampering
- Improper outside repair
- Improper removal or installation
- Improper torque procedures
- Improper sealing
- Improper electrical connection
- Improper coding or programming
- Improper calibration
- Improper adjustment
- Improper reassembly
13. Call Kadunza First - Right To Inspect
If you believe a Kadunza-covered repair has failed, contact Kadunza before another repair facility removes, disassembles, repairs, or replaces the potentially covered component whenever reasonably possible.
Kadunza must be provided a reasonable opportunity to inspect, diagnose, and evaluate a suspected covered failure.
Having another repair facility inspect or service the vehicle does not, by itself, automatically void this warranty.
However, Kadunza may deny coverage when outside work:
- Causes or materially contributes to the failure;
- Damages or alters the covered component;
- Destroys or changes evidence necessary to determine the cause of failure;
- Contaminates the component;
- Prevents Kadunza from inspecting the component in its failed condition; or
- Makes it reasonably impossible to determine whether the original failure was covered.
14. Warranty Repairs Must Be Performed By Kadunza Or An Authorized Facility
To receive benefits under the 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Parts & Labor Limited Warranty or Lifetime Parts Guarantee, the customer must contact Kadunza before authorizing a potentially covered repair whenever reasonably possible.
A covered warranty repair must be performed by:
Kadunza European Auto Service
or
A qualified repair facility specifically authorized by Kadunza for that warranty claim.
When the vehicle is reasonably accessible to a Kadunza location, Kadunza may require the vehicle to be returned to Kadunza for inspection, diagnosis, and warranty repair.
Repairs performed by another facility without prior Kadunza authorization are not eligible for reimbursement except where:
- Prior authorization was not reasonably possible because of a genuine emergency; or
- Applicable law requires otherwise.
The customer's use of another repair facility for unrelated maintenance or non-warranty repairs does not, by itself, void this warranty.
15. Nationwide Warranty Coverage
Your Kadunza warranty travels with you.
Qualifying warranty coverage is available nationwide throughout the United States.
If a suspected covered failure occurs while the vehicle is away from a Kadunza location, the customer must contact Kadunza before authorizing repair whenever reasonably possible.
Kadunza may:
- Review diagnostic information;
- Request photographs or video;
- Communicate directly with the servicing facility;
- Authorize diagnosis by another qualified repair facility;
- Request preservation or inspection of the failed component;
- Authorize repair by another qualified facility;
- Supply an approved replacement part;
- Arrange shipment of a replacement component;
- Pay an authorized repair facility directly; or
- Reimburse an approved covered expense upon receipt of satisfactory documentation.
An estimate, diagnosis, recommendation, or repair authorization issued by another repair facility does not by itself constitute approval of a Kadunza warranty claim.
16. Preservation Of Failed Parts
If another repair facility must remove a potentially covered component before Kadunza can personally inspect it, the customer should instruct the facility to preserve the failed component.
Kadunza may require the component to be:
- Retained by the repair facility;
- Photographed;
- Inspected by Kadunza;
- Returned to Kadunza; or
- Made available for manufacturer or supplier inspection.
Do not discard a potentially covered failed part until Kadunza authorizes its disposal.
Disposal, destruction, alteration, loss, or failure to preserve a potentially covered component may result in denial of the claim if Kadunza can no longer reasonably determine the original cause of failure.
17. Maximum Warranty Benefit
Each covered repair is protected up to the amount originally paid for that specific repair.
Kadunza's maximum aggregate financial responsibility for warranty benefits arising from a particular qualifying repair will not exceed the amount the customer originally paid Kadunza for that specific covered repair, as shown on the final repair order or invoice.
Example
If the customer paid $2,000 for a qualifying covered repair, the maximum aggregate warranty benefit associated with that original repair is $2,000, subject to all other terms and applicable law.
The warranty benefit may include, where applicable:
- Replacement parts
- Warranty labor
- Approved diagnostic expenses
- Authorized outside repair expenses
- Approved reimbursements
- Other amounts paid or provided by Kadunza to satisfy the covered claim
Multiple Repairs on One Invoice
If an invoice contains multiple separate jobs or repairs, the warranty limit applies to the amount originally charged for the specific covered repair, not to the total invoice value for unrelated work.
Aggregate Limit
Multiple warranty claims related to the same original repair do not create a new warranty limit.
Amounts paid or benefits provided by Kadunza for that covered repair reduce the remaining available warranty benefit.
Replacement of a component does not reset, increase, or restart the original repair-value limit.
Nothing in this section limits any remedy or right that applicable law does not permit Kadunza to limit.
18. Determining Warranty Eligibility
Kadunza will determine whether a claim qualifies for coverage based on reasonably available information, which may include:
- Vehicle inspection
- Component inspection
- Diagnostic testing
- Technician findings
- Photographs or video
- Service records
- Maintenance records
- Repair history
- Outside repair invoices
- Programming or coding records
- Manufacturer findings
- Supplier findings
- Failed-component analysis
- Other reasonably relevant evidence
The customer must cooperate reasonably with Kadunza's investigation of a warranty claim.
Kadunza will not deny a claim solely because another repair facility inspected or serviced the vehicle.
Kadunza may deny a claim when reasonably reliable evidence demonstrates that an excluded condition caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure.
19. Diagnostic And Inspection Costs
During the 5-Year / 60,000-Mile Parts & Labor Limited Warranty period, reasonable diagnostic expenses directly necessary to establish an approved covered failure may be included in the warranty benefit.
If the condition is determined not to be covered, the customer is responsible for authorized charges associated with:
- Diagnosis
- Testing
- Inspection
- Disassembly
- Reassembly
- Programming
- Other necessary diagnostic procedures
After expiration of Parts & Labor coverage, diagnosis and labor are not included in the Lifetime Parts Guarantee.
20. Towing, Rental Vehicles, Travel, And Transportation
Unless expressly authorized in writing by Kadunza, this warranty does not include:
- Towing
- Roadside assistance
- Rental vehicles
- Rideshare expenses
- Vehicle transportation
- Lodging
- Meals
- Travel expenses
Separate manufacturer, insurance, roadside-assistance, supplier, or other programs may provide such benefits.
21. Replacement Parts
Kadunza may satisfy a covered parts obligation using an appropriate:
- New component;
- Remanufactured component; or
- Equivalent-quality replacement component.
Kadunza is not required to provide a component of greater specification, performance, or value than the originally covered component.
If the original component is discontinued or unavailable, Kadunza may substitute a reasonably equivalent replacement.
22. Manufacturer And Supplier Warranties
Certain products installed by Kadunza may also carry warranty protection from a manufacturer, distributor, or supplier.
Kadunza may use an applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty to fulfill all or part of a covered warranty obligation.
The existence of another warranty does not expand Kadunza's obligations beyond the terms of this Limited Warranty unless expressly stated otherwise.
23. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain eligibility for warranty benefits, the customer is responsible for:
- Promptly reporting a suspected covered failure;
- Taking reasonable steps to prevent further damage;
- Discontinuing operation when continued driving could reasonably cause additional damage;
- Contacting Kadunza before authorizing outside warranty repairs whenever reasonably possible;
- Providing Kadunza a reasonable opportunity to inspect or evaluate the failure;
- Preserving potentially covered failed components when requested;
- Providing proof of the original repair when reasonably requested;
- Providing reasonably available service and maintenance records;
- Obtaining Kadunza authorization before incurring reimbursable outside repair expenses whenever reasonably possible.
Damage caused by continuing to operate the vehicle after the customer knew or reasonably should have known that a serious mechanical condition existed is not covered.
24. Commercial, Fleet, Performance, And Special-Use Vehicles
Unless otherwise stated in writing, vehicles primarily used for:
- Commercial service;
- Rental service;
- Rideshare;
- Delivery;
- Fleet service;
- Racing;
- Competition;
- Track use;
- Driver education; or
- Other unusually severe-duty applications
may be excluded from this warranty or may receive different warranty terms stated on the repair order.
25. Warranty Remedy
For an approved warranty claim, Kadunza will determine the reasonable remedy necessary to correct the covered condition.
Depending upon the circumstances, Kadunza may:
- Repair the covered component;
- Replace the covered component;
- Correct covered workmanship;
- Authorize repair at another qualified repair facility;
- Reimburse an approved covered repair; or
- Provide another substantially equivalent remedy.
All warranty remedies remain subject to the maximum warranty benefit described in this agreement.
This warranty does not entitle the customer to:
- An upgraded component;
- A replacement vehicle;
- A refund of the entire original repair merely because warranty service is required; or
- Payment for unrelated repairs.
26. Incidental And Consequential Losses
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kadunza is not responsible under this warranty for incidental or consequential expenses or losses, including:
- Loss of vehicle use
- Lost wages
- Lost business income
- Vehicle depreciation
- Diminished vehicle value
- Storage charges
- Damage to personal property
- Travel expenses
- Lodging
- Meals
- Transportation expenses
This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
27. Limitation To The Original Repair
This warranty applies only to the specific qualifying repair, covered component, and associated workmanship originally provided by Kadunza.
A covered failure does not create warranty coverage for:
- Unrelated components;
- Pre-existing conditions;
- Maintenance items;
- Subsequently discovered conditions; or
- Additional repairs that were not included in the original covered repair.
28. Other Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives the customer specific legal rights. Customers may also have additional rights under applicable federal or state law.
Any limitation, exclusion, condition, or remedy contained in this warranty that applicable law prohibits will be interpreted only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The invalidity or unenforceability of one provision does not invalidate the remaining provisions.
